A garden for our boys......

I think we can finally say the sun has arrived..... lets just hope the great British weather is on our side for the next few months!

When we moved just over a year ago the garden included with the property was a big factor - with two dogs and two adventurous boys I think we found the best;

There's a little river tucked away along the bottom of the garden too

The boys absolutely love our garden, it's so nice that have the space and freedom to run around and we can easily see them wherever they are in the garden!!

Last summer we added this to the decking

It's a big hit with everyone young and old (yep I tried it out), we thought it would be a bit safer and a whole lot enjoyable than walking/running down the concrete steps next to the decking.....

This is by far the most used toy in our garden and it keeps the boys entertained in the garden for ages, Freddie loves to push his cars, George pig cuddly toy or any thing else he can get his hands on (he even tried to persuade Rocky our Staffy to go down but he was having none of it!!) & he'll race down after them....

Literally hours are spent with them going down the slide, up the steps, down the slide....

We love to try and spot different animals and bugs around the garden, we gets lots of butterflies too. The most loved visitors lately has to have been Mr Robin he visits most days and there have been a few squirrels in the colder months.

Imagination plays a very big part in my boys playtime, especially Harrys. He chases around the garden roaring, shouting and laughing at some monster, power ranger or Teenage Mutan Nija Turtle most days!

I'm not the most green fingered of people but I have been trying and the boys love getting stuck in with me, Freddie would dig in the mud all day long if I let him! Harry would definitely be sharing my gardening gloves.

The most exciting fun for the boys in the garden is when their cousin brings his Quad round for a spin

Who doesn't want a ice cream in the sunshine after the school run??

Harry choose to have a chocolate spread/peanut butter on toast combo!

We enjoy eating outside when we can normally a picnic lunch or a BBQ feast, there is something about it that excites the boys a lot about eating el fresco!!

We haven't even had chance to get the tunnel, seesaw and ball pit out this year but there is still plenty of time.

I love that the boys have each other and are lucky to have lots of space to make many happy memories together

My Pinterest board Kid's Garden is full of ideas I want to use in the garden for the boys.
